Run 6.30am, woke up 7am
The run: 5 miles easy round Port Meadow loop / canal. Yawn - too too tired, and already hot. I haven’t been early morning running for a while, so I probably just need to re-adjust, but a heatwave is looming, so I’m going to give afternoons a miss for a while.
Gearing up for another Half Marathon on Sunday - Milton Keynes. If it’s hot, then I’ll be glad to just get round, but officially I’m aiming for sub 1:37 this time.

You do go to the nicest places - hopefully you can get in some good roundabout spotting while you are at it - create a new category of statistics to keep the mind busy…
I did exercise on Friday, and wiped out my entire weekend - having to live life as an honorary OAP for 72 hours afterwards - is it really worth getting fit???

That’s why I devote my weekends just to being wiped out! Some people take to drink to achieve the same effect, but my way is free.
Milton Keynes? Much underrated
There’s a nice art gallery, and um, a wind tunnel thingy apparently that sounds fun. It’s a pretty popular one I think - 1600 runners or so.
Anyway, I’m saving the scenic runs for later in the year - Brussels, then maybe Snowdonia?
